I went on time and waited 10 minutes for the therapist to enter my room. She left the room several times to answer the phone. At one point she was on the phone while she was providing service to me. She placed a cold towel on a back, she didn't even give a minute overtime considering she was late and she left the room multiple times. Based on my experience, I did not tip and I could tell she was upset, she asked for tip and I said no. I will not be returning to Yan Spa. Please let the workers know that it is not Mandatory to pay tip and they should not get upset when clients don't pay tip, there will always be a next time if the service is great and in this case my wasn't.

They take most of the insurance companies, but you have to pay first and then reimburse ,so far no complaints for the therapist , on times, easily getting appointments.

I felt wasting my time to get massage there. My husband recommended specific therapist as he knows that I like hard pressure massage. I booked and requested for specific person. My experience was the opposite to what my husband told me. During the massage I didn’t feel the pressure much so I requested for a harder pressure. No acknowledge if she heard me or not and continued her own pressure. I felt as if the massage was just only light touch.
I normally tip the therapist. But this time I didn’t feel satisfied enough to tip her. She looked at me when I paid her and asked for TIP.
I just didnt feel like complaining as I thought she would know already that I don’t tip because I am not satisfied!
So I ended up tip her just because she dared to ask.

Then I talked to my husband about how his therapist looks like. And it didn’t seem to be the same person as who I requested for.

I will never go back again. Just a disappointing experience

Horrific experience makes it almost unbelievable and hilarious. Went for a RMT massage. The masseuse used a plastic cloth hanger as a massage tool! I was asked to sign Disclosures and consent forms AFTER the massage when I mentioned I’ll be using insurance. Receipts are completely faked. Very very pushy with tips. I’m amazed this business hasn’t been sued and still operating.

My husband and I booked a last minute apt for a couples massage and I must say it was the best massage we have ever had! Not to mention they accommodated us last minute and past their closing hours! Very clean environment! Thank you so much! We are well relaxed and will be back!

Hard working ladies, fair prices for non insurance. Unfortunately prices go up when you say you're using insurance. Seems to be some confusion about tipping with insurance. A little language barrier but get past that and focus on the quality of the massage and it's great. Lots of availability, I always call on same day for massage.

This review is based on my experience with the operations of Yan's Spa, not my review of the actual massage (which was fine).

I asked in advance if the spa had RMT professionals onsite to claim back with my insurance and I was told yes - so I was charged $90 for each massage for myself and my partner and we each left an 18% tip. My claim was rejected from my insurance, and Yan Spa said they would provide me with a new receipt so that I could resubmit my claim.

That never happened. I've now been back to Yan Spa 3 times and called numerous times to come collect the new receipt. They kept telling me the manager is not there and to come back or call back... But every time it's the same thing.

It's now been over 6 weeks that I'm trying to resolve this issue. No one calls me back and everytime I go back to try to speak with someone it's a waste of time. If I had known, I wouldn't have paid the extra $70 for a RMT (who was actually not a RMT).

Great place, I love the girls there they are so kind and great at their job. The prices are very reasonable and worth it. I don’t know why people are being little brats and ungrateful people because this place gave me the best massage of my life. This place has so much patience in anything that is hard to be patient in, I had an hour and a half massage and they put ever little ounch of their strength into the massage.Yan spa is so underrated and they deserve so much more. Thank you girls ♥️
