I discovered a gem in Pickering! I have gone to so many salons , so many hair stylist's and my search is over! Finally I can tell not only this place is clean, bright and beautiful but also the people working there ! Everyone is attentive, polite and just making sure you feel pampered . The girl that did my hair was Maddie she was from the beginning very attentive on what I wanted, she took her time to explain to me everything, always very professional. She did an amazing job ! I’m in love with my hair now. I came in all in dark brown (boring!) and left with beautiful shiny lights/balayage . Thank you Maddie for leaving my hair so nice . I’ll be back for sure!!

I was looking for a salon for my 12 year old daughter when I came across William Tissert Salon & Spa. The site was easy to use, reviews were great and the write up included a teen appointment which sold me. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The stylist, Julie took the time to listen to what my daughter wanted and offered great suggestions to suit her face shape and hair type.

The end result? Absolutely stunning! The cut was stylish, fresh, and exactly what she envisioned. She walked out feeling confident and couldn’t stop looking at her hair in the mirror. The attention to detail and skill of the stylist were top-notch.

We’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend Julie and the William Tissert Salon & Spa to anyone looking for expert hair care in a friendly, professional setting!

After a few bad experiences, I was hesitant to find a new salon to go to when I found William Tisserts! I was so elated to find a salon that made booking an appointment a breeze. Julie was a phenomenal experience and I’m happy to have found my new stylist that understood my hair concerns and helped give me the confidence to wear my hair down again! Great customer service, and very professional. The salon also very clean and provides a nice calm environment for you to enjoy your visit. A 5 star experience through and through!

I found this salon through Reddit and I am sad that I didn’t find them sooner! It is very unassuming from the outside but when you open that door, you step into a world that is clean, serene, welcoming and cozy. The staff immediately treat you like family as soon as you walk in, offering you a beverage and providing you with instructions that are specific to your visit. I observed that the staff members were so warm and kind to one another. This same warmth and kindness was extended to every single client (including myself…we’ve never met but we all talked like I’ve been there 10x lol). I was booked with William, who gave me an amazing haircut. I was so impressed…I felt like a model that stepped out of a magazine. He is incredibly knowledgeable about hair (even down to the molecular level!) and well rounded in terms of experience and his personality. Thank you William and team for such a luxurious experience that will keep me coming back again and again 🙂 if you are on the fence….just book and you won’t regret it 😀

My initial visit to William Tissert Salon was exceptional, which is why I felt confident returning. However, my most recent experience left me deeply disappointed. I booked the appointment to have my greys covered and a haircut, bringing reference pictures to ensure clarity. Unfortunately, the stylist decided to tone my blonde along with coloring the greys, leaving my hair much darker than I wanted. The haircut also didn’t align with my expectations.

I expressed my dissatisfaction to the owner, who assured me he would follow up before Christmas. Regrettably, that follow-up never happened, leaving me feeling overlooked. To add to the disappointment, I was still required to pay for services that I was unhappy with.

While my first visit showed the salon’s potential for excellence, this lack of attentiveness and follow-through has been disheartening.

I recently had an incredible hair color appointment with William, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! He did partial highlights and lowlights, blending the colors flawlessly. To make the experience even more special, we realized we both spoke Italian and spent the time chatting in fluent Italian, which added something special to the appointment. The salon had a warm, inviting atmosphere, and William made me feel at ease from start to finish. I left the salon feeling refreshed and absolutely thrilled with my hair. I highly recommend William and his team!
