My first-ever Walmart visit happened right here in Ajax, Canada, and not in the US—who would’ve thought? As a Filipino visiting this massive store, I was blown away by the variety of products. It felt like stepping into a shopper’s paradise!

Of course, my mission was clear: find Hot Rods for my only child—the one thing he specifically asked for. I was thrilled to finally spot them since Walmart is the only store here that carries them. Unfortunately, their stock was limited, so I couldn’t hoard as many as I wanted. Still, mission (partially) accomplished!

Beyond Hot Rods, I couldn’t help but marvel at the sheer range of items Walmart offers. The festive cookies and pastries on display screamed holiday vibes, while the deli and ready-to-eat sections offered so many tempting options. And let’s not forget the endless chip and snack aisles—they’re a junk food lover’s dream! I could’ve spent hours just walking around and exploring.

Overall, it was a fun first visit, and I’ll definitely be back. Fingers crossed they restock on Hot Rods by then!

I ordered groceries on Uber eats on October 17,2024 and received yogurt that had expired on October 4, 2024. How are you not checking and removing expired dairy products from your shelves Absolutely disgusting. I’ve complained on Uber and still have not received a response.

Easy Walmart to get in and out of, shelves are stocked, clean building, organized stock. The layout is tricky but we go here because it has everything we need in one ship for an affordable price. A weekly or 2x a week shop for us.

I had a very disappointing and humiliating experience at this Walmart location on February 28.2025 at 9:47 AM. After paying for my items at the self-checkout and exiting the store without triggering any alarms, I was suddenly stopped by a security guard and another employee who demanded to check my receipt. This has never happened to me before, despite being a regular customer.
When I asked why I was being singled out, the supervisor, Josh, simply said it was "normal procedure." However, I saw other customers leaving without being stopped. This felt unfair, intrusive, and completely unnecessary. I was so frustrated that I requested a refund for my entire purchase.
Walmart needs to clarify its policies and ensure that all customers are treated with respect and fairness. No one should have to feel embarrassed for simply shopping. I will be reconsidering where I spend my money in the future.

Walmart has got rid of plastic bags, but they have succeeded in finding another way to fill our landfills. Now they have these non-biodegradable blue bags. Blatant greenwashing. I ordered online to have them deliver to my place. Have a look at the number of non-biodegradable bags they left at my door. Thought it was time to call out the hypocrisy in replacing plastic bags with cloth bags to fill our landfills.
