Nous faisions un circuit à vélo et avons choisi Vilaya pour y passer une nuit. Ce fût une très belle découverte! Le village est charmant et les gens sympathiques. Très bel accueil de Viviane. La chambre est spacieuse, la cuisinette très bien équipée et le lit confortable. Une de nos belles découvertes de notre périple est ontarien. Je recommande vivement!

Nous avons rejoint cet établissement à Vélo et nous avions été accueilli par Vivianne qui était au petit soin. La chambre est spacieuse et le lit très confortable. La petite cuisine est plus que bien equipée, nous avons pu faire notre souper et dejeuner assez facilement.
Le village est très calme et charmant. On recommande fortement.

Endroit merveilleux pour recharger ses batteries. Calme et paisible. Propre et confortable. Vivianne et son conjoint sont très gentils et à l'écoute de leurs clients. Vankleek Hill est un joli village à visiter. Les gens y sont fort sympathiques. Très bon rapport qualité-prix. J'y retournerai certainement!

This is probably one of the more beautiful homes in this little town of Vankleek Hill, called "the Gingerbread Capital of Ontario". Viv and her husband Nate have gone to a lot of work to restore this 3-story home and they're not finished yet! The rooms have an eclectic feel with lots of art and plants topping up the antiques, wicker and great windows that allow the sun to stream in! The kitchen was fully equiped so you can heat up or cook up; its a great added feature. The bed is comfortable and you feel pampered with piles of pillows and a big duvet! It's fun walking the streets of the town just to see the others houses. Lovely spot!

We stayed at the Vilayala Retreat after reading the wonderful 5 star Reviews. Our first booking had to be changed under their 72hour policy due to the recent snow storm and Viv was more than accommodating. From the moment we arrived Viv the host greeted us with a friendly hello and gave us a quick overview of the retreat where she was very sociable. The Retreat has a charming appeal with both a historic and zen vibe and creative decor. Our room was very clean, well equipped with plates, cutlery, condiments and plenty of blankets, pillows and towels with creams, soap and shampoo. We had a lovely stay and will be back to this beautiful and cozy retreat in Vankleet Ontario.

Such a warm and welcoming place to stay. There was beautiful attention to every detail to make my stay relaxing and enjoyable. Comfortable bed, amazing coffee, quiet when you need it. An amazing host and a lovely property. I highly recommend this home away from home!
