I took my mom here a day before Mothers Day.
I have to say, the owner overcharged us and did a terrible job. I tipped her 15 dollars in good faith. One day later, the nails started chipping and looked horrible. This is after charging us 80 dollars. She should be ashamed of herself for ripping people off and doing a terrible job. Especially right before Mother’s Day.

I enjoyed doing my nails here! The lady was so nice and she knew what she was doing. I’m definitely going to keep going back there to do my nails. My nails are 3 weeks old now and the acrylic is still fantastic and I do a lot of water related chores. So I’m impressed that it held up!

“I recently heard about a concerning experience from a close family friend who visited Toronto Nails in Thunder Bay. They unfortunately developed a fungal infection after their appointment, which raises serious concerns about the salon’s hygiene and sterilization practices.

Cleanliness and proper sanitation should be a top priority for any nail salon to ensure the safety of their clients. I hope the management addresses this issue promptly to prevent future occurrences and protect their customers.

I encourage others to be cautious and inquire about the salon’s sterilization methods before booking services here.

I came as walk in and she took me right away and even painted my toddlers nails no charge as she was asking for “yellow”
I was looking for just a gel overlay on my natural nails and they look great!

I received a gift certificate in 2019 for Christmas from my husband. As we had a pandemic, and other issues concerning that, I went there today hoping to be able to use this $50.00 gift card. I wasn’t. I was told it was too old. I get that, but no one was expecting a pandemic either. I wasn’t in a hurry to get my nails done, sorry not sorry. Her solution? Come back, get at least $50.00 worth of services, and MAYBE she’ll give me 10% off. So now I’m out the original $50.00, plus I have to pay at least another $50.00 to maybe get a percentage off? Gift certificates/cards shouldn’t expire. Horrible customer service, especially after what the world has been through. Definitely never going back, and I’ll make sure to tell others not to either.

The lady working there is super nice. Don’t get me wrong, but she goes way too fast on your nails which leaves it messy and unneat. She doesn’t give you the shape that you asked for. Shes far too over priced especially for what I got done and some of the tools that she had used on my nails had gunk all over them. And after I left, I had to shape my own nails to get the proper and neat shape I wanted

I love her work. I was so upset when I could not find her for a while. Lein is fast, friendly and very professional. I highly recommend you go to her for nails. She is the best nail tech I have ever had.

Definitely Never coming back at all. Not happy with services and the amount charged. She has difficulty understanding what the customer wants and then wants to charge more if u want any changes need to be done. She keeps doing it so fast u dont know even know whats going on. So dissatisfied and upset with my nails. I wish I could get them off right way but again not free!!!! Think twice before u go there!!! Not sorry I am putting this review.
