My wife and I thoroughly enjoy our stay from start to finish. Rick and Colleen were very accommodating and were there to greet us with smiles and assistance. The woodstove was burning bright as we unpacked in our cozy room over looking their beautiful expansive private property. The breakfasts were just simply amazing and dinner exceeded all expectation!
( A couple of great cooks for sure!!!) They have great trails on their 68 acres and we loved our snowshoe hike!
We have no hesitation in returning again or recommending this place to others.

Rick and Colleen are great!! Super friendly. Super food! And if you love dogs, Sid, Bernie and Harry are great too! We had a daily walk through the bush which was beautiful! And the paths are very well maintained even in the snow. We would highly recommend!!

My husband and I recently went to Top of Algonquin Bed and Breakfast and we had an amazing experience! It was our 1st time experiencing a BnB and it is well worth it! Rick and Colleen set the bar and made us feel welcome the whole time we were there. The food they prepared was fantastic (we had Thai food for diner, and a peach pancake / sausage breakfast) and they even made me a German Chocolate birthday cake. 🙂 Rick recommended some beautiful hiking spots in the area, and they even have some on the property. Lots of peace, quiet and nature. Highly recommend.

Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, rücksichtsvoll und hilfsbereit.
Sie fragen was man essen möchte und kochen immer frisch.
Das Essen schmeckt hervorragend.
Die Zimmer sind sind sauber und man hat ein eigenes Bad und eine eigene Toilette.
Die Hunde sind sehr freundlich und zurückhaltend.
Man kann sich den Gastgebern anschließen oder man kann seine eigenen Wege gehen.
Ein wundervoller ruhiger Ort mit Kolibris direkt vor dem Fenster.
Wir haben neue Freunde gewonnen und wir werden uns wieder sehen.

We can highly recommend this accommodation.
The hosts are very friendly, considerate and helpful.
They ask what you want to eat and always cook fresh.
The food tastes excellent.
The rooms are clean and you have your own bathroom and toilet.
The dogs are very friendly and reserved.
You can join the hosts or you can go your own way.
A wonderful quiet place with hummingbirds right outside the window.
We have made new friends and we will see each other again.

Algonquin Bed and Breakfast,
The place to be!

Das süße B&B liegt an einer kleinen Seitenstraße mit sehr wenig Verkehr (Ruhe pur).
Hinter dem Haus stehen Parkplätze zur Verfügung die man nutzen kann.

Die beiden Gastgeber haben uns zu späterer Stunde herzlich in Empfang genommen und mit ihren drei Hunden bekannt gemacht (ganz liebe Tiere und sehr verschmust).
Im Wohnhaus ist der untere Bereich für Gäste wunderschön eingerichtet und es fehlt einfach an nichts. Hier bleiben keinerlei Wünsche offen.
Eigenes Schlafzimmer, eigenes Bad, Wohnzimmer, Aufenthaltsbereich und sogar ein Fitness Raum kann mitgenutzt werden.
Eine riesige Auswahl an Frühstück ist im Preis inkludiert und auf Wunsch wird man abends bekocht (nehmt das Angebot in Anspruch, die Gastgeber machen tolles Essen!!!).
Für Tipps und Empfehlungen stehen die Gastgeber ebenfalls zur Verfügung und sie haben auf ihrem riesigen Grundstück einen kleinen Wanderweg angelegt, auf dem neben Pilzen und Sugar Maple Trees mit etwas Glück auch Schwarzbären anzutreffen sind 😉

Achso, hier wird vieles aus eigenem Anbau genutzt, das ist besonders zu erwähnen und verdient einen 6ten Stern. Die Weintrauben Marmelade war unglaublich lecker, daran werde ich lange zurück denken.

...und an alle deutschsprachigen Gäste: Rick lernt gerade deutsch und freut sich sehr, wenn man ihm ein paar Worte beibringt.

We have been to this bed and breakfast twice already. Rick and Collen are great host and people, we have great conversations with them always. Their home is beautiful and as heartwarming as they are.

Comfortable, cozy and relaxing stay. Food is so delicious, Rick loves cooking and he cooks different cuisines, excellently.

Property is huge and beautiful. Make sure you carry gumboots or extra pair of shoes for the property tour, as we forgot to carry ours and got our shoes drenched. You can not miss the walk, it is very scenic.

Hosts Rick & Colleen were welcoming & very helpful in suggesting things to do locally. Breakfasts were made to order & just delicious. They offer dinners as well, and I am SO glad we planned one. In Retrospect - I wish we had planned on two at their house. The food was well presented, very fresh and just delicious! It beat any offerings in the nearby town by a mile.
We had an entire floor to ourselves, giving us time and space to really stretch and and be comfortable after a busy day of exploring.
Our bed was comfortable and linens were lovely. And this place is QUIET!
There are two lovely pups you can interact with, or not, but they were extremely well behaved and I enjoyed being around them.
We had a great experience at the Top of Algonquin B&B.
