This is a difficult review for me to write as my experience didn’t seem to be as positive as the other reviewers and it’s possible that I’m just not fully understanding the service a Nutritionist would provide. I went there for nutrition and diet advice after recently having 2 babies and it started off great when I answered the intake questions with Yasmin who was wonderful. When I went to see Dr, Shawn, I couldn’t help but feel like the vials and colour cards were a strange take on science which led to him trying to sell me expensive supplements. The whole thing felt quite awkward and I asked about when we would discuss my diet plan in terms of lifestyle and what I eat on a daily basis. He said we would do it after but it felt like that part of the session was very rushed. I was overall disappointed in my experience and wish I had done a bit more research before deciding to come here.

I am a newer patient of Shawn's and am thoroughly impressed! I have had both an in-person and virtual visit and found both to be effective options. In my first appointment Shawn was able to pinpoint some key issues that connected a lot of puzzle pieces discovered by other practitioners, yet I have never seen such immediate results as I have after even just my initial visit. This Holsitic Dr saved my life. Been a client for 5 years now. Countless practitioners tried to help me, but Shawn found things no one else could. I'm a new person because of him and his expert level understanding of nutrition, therapeutic use of supplements and energy medicine. I had "idiopathic hives", warts, eczema, low energy, allergies, chronic infection and autoimmune issues for years. Dermatologists, immunologists, breast cancer specialists, blood tests, heart tests, stool samples - everything showed normal. I remember feeling desperate and hopeless leaving the emergency room once, shaking and cold and having heart palpitations and covered in skin lesions, unable to work or care for myself or my family - I was discharged because my labs were all perfect and it didn't display like an emergency. I vividly remember a specialist look at me when i asked her if natural medicine could help, because I had started to see improvements. She said "look, there's nothing left for you here at the hospital. You're obviously sick, but we can't find it. If you're starting to see changes, that's important. Keep going". Before finding this type of holsitic medicine i suffered every minute of every day (and night). One of the first day of being on Shawn's supplement protocol, I was feeling super off, ran to the toilet and expelled worms. Yes. Worms. Completely defies logic and my conventional u derstanding of medicine. It's been a snowball of healing ever since. I'm eternally grateful I put my trust in him and followed his plan, as unfamiliar as muscle testing was at the beginning I've grown to respect and educate myself of its history and efficacy. I've gained healthy weight back. I have energy to live my life, care for family and self again and work, leave my house, make plans and keep them because I'm not exhausted or in pain, lift weights, eat without fear, get dressed and clean without my skin splitting and bleeding, grocery shop without having heart palpitations or low blood pressure episodes...
