Absolutely unprofessional on every level.
Very difficult to even secure an appointment or product in a timely manner.
I had a horrible experience with the owner. I did everything as a client responsibility to make the appointment procedure as well as the interactions with her go smooth.
She was so very rude and disconcerting as to her behavior regarding the appointment.
I just moved to Thunder Bay from the Ottawa area, and i also am a business owner in the beauty industry, so I am fully aware of expectations and duty.
This by my standards were far below the bar of any salon ive attended or my own that ran. Also,have to disagree with previous review left by patron...this is not a relaxing atmosphere at all as it is extremely small space and everyone can hear conversations.
I would not recommend this location at all,avoid delays and ignorance,book somewhere other than this location.

The hair cutter Rebecca is the most unprofessional person. She cancels appointment last minute and she is rude and ignorant. Not sure why she can run this business properly. I feel sorry for anyone going there. She deserves no stars!!

(Not my email so not my name) The Lashes fall out super fast. I would Booked every 2 weeks but it looked like I was on week 3 after a week and by my 2 week appointment it looked like I was on week 4. And I did take care of my lashes. Not very friendly or professional at times. Lashes also not applied very well, very clumpy. Soon as I would leave the building they would already be starting to fall out (not a normal amount). I’m confused about the reviews and why my experience wasn’t the same, maybe it was just the lack of care for my lashes?

Please confirm if this your number here is still working, I have been calling to book an appointment for the past 5days,no answer. Also, do I just walk in, I don't want to waste my time coming all the way, and you tell me, I don't have any appointment. Also, I hope your price stated here is the updated prices, I see in one of the reviews that someone saw a price you posted here and was given another price when she arrived. All this I want to clarify the reason why I have been calling. I want the mega volume lash, and it states $120 here. Please confirm and reply to this post if you can't pick up your calls. Thanks in advance. Only God knows how long it will take to even respond to this post 🙄😑

Had an appointment for teeth whitening on Sat at 10AM. Showed up at 5 mins to 10. One of the girls came to the front, asked me who I was waiting for, said that she would be in soon. I waited about 10 mins, so 5 after 10...the girl came back to get her Client, and said she would try to message the other girl. I waited until 25 after 10, and no one showed up. I understand that things come up, but no phone call, no text, no email, nothing. Really disappointed and would not recommend.

For the last four days I have been calling trying to speak to someone about making and appointment, I have left several messages and have had no response. Today I went to the shop, I wanted to get my eyebrows microbladed. Under your services tab is clear states $175 micro blading, I have a screenshot of it too. I was told “no, that must be for a touch up”. It says micro blading NOT touch up, the girl snickered and said it was between $500 and $650, I said no thank you and she told be “bye”. Super disappointed that you don’t honour your posted prices, also it is fraudulent advertising to post one price then quote another. I will be sure to share my experience with the better business bureau as well.

I have been to many lash technicians over the years and Rebecca is by far the best one. She is continually growing and learning with her business and I'm happy to be along for the journey. I highly recommend The Beauty House to everyone, you will not be disappointed.

The beauty bar is your #1 place for amazing eyelash extensions! I can't say enough wonderful things about my lashes and I always get a ton of compliments on them! I also highly recommend the nano hair extensions 🙂 So happy with both services!!!!!!!!
