TERRIBLE SUITES: In July 2024 I reserved a ground floor room for October 12, 2024. I explained by email, that I required a room location with no steps and accessible. Upon arrival, my wife was told that the room was in the basement, several steps below ground level. She explained once again, that I required an accessible room with no stairs. They showed her room 7 which was at least located up a ramp. That was fine.

In the bathroom the towel bar was very loose as was an assist bar which rendered it unsafe to use. The fan would not shut off, it ran 24/7. We told the staff about it.

We went to bed and found it rather warm, so we foolishly tried to turn on the room air conditioner. It wouldn't work. So we used their phone to call for help and of course the phone was dead. No dial tone. What qualified technician would come out at 22:30? So we then stood on their couch to open the windows. Great place to locate them, out of reach for people standing on the floor and people that can't climb up on their couch.

A person with a walker or wheelchair could not access the bathroom due to the poor design of the room, the bed blocks the way.

We were expecting a breakfast.... scrambled eggs, sausage, fresh cut potatoes, normal coffee perhaps.... nope, heat it yourself commercial food.

Save your frustration and your money, go elsewhere.

After having an awful experience at the Ramada, we were fortunate that the Terrace suites had an available Jacuzzi room. The staff were absolutely wonderful and helpful and made our check in a pleasant experience. The room is massive with French doors to the bedroom. The view is breathtaking and the quality is unrivaled. This is definitely going to be my go-to getaway.

Our stay at Terrace Suites is always memorable! The most friendly and accommodating service you can ask for. The view of Callander Bay was incredible to wake up to and to watch the sunset at the end of a day, there may be no better view in the area to do so! |The back patio view is a well kept golf course that was enjoyable to play over our week’s stay. We appreciated the loan of golf clubs as we did not travel with our sets. Thank you Kostas! |The unit look newly renovated, yet had a rustic cabin feel, which is very comforting, especially considering the amount nature surrounding the property! You really do feel isolated, yet we could take a short walk to Callander for meals/drinks and beaches! After travelling a lot this summer I can honestly say the King size beds at Terrace Suites were the most comfortable in all our stays! Hadn’t slept that sound in a very long time. Blackout curtains are a nice touch as well. We truly did feel at home and it’s quick drive to North Bay, although we did decide many days to just stay put and enjoy the property.|We used the new bbq’s throughout the week, and on a summer night nothing beats a bbq and a glass of vino/pint.||Air conditioning was pleasant to come back to after hot sunny days out…and the fireplace made the unit feel much like sleeping in a cabin. All and all our stay at the Terrace Suites was the highlight of our trip to Ontario! We’ll be back and looking forward to our next stay! Thank you to the property staff (you were all amazing) for making our stay another memorable one! B&L

My wife and I stayed at the Terrace Suites for the 2nd time in July. We loved our experience there, the location is beautiful with a an amazing view overlooking the Bay. A nice quiet atmosphere and recently renovated rooms.

Staff were very friendly and helpful to us especially with a last minute room switch to accommodate our family better. Our son left behind one of his favourite toys and was quite upset, thankfully they went above and beyond to make sure it got back to us.

Overall a much better option than a traditional hotel as it really feels like you have a place of your own. We will return and highly recommend!

My wife and I booked a luxury suite with a jetted tub last minute for the Canada Day weekend. We brought our dog, and even though the room was technically not for pets, the hotel is very pet friendly. We had booked online through a third party, and they did not have an option to state we were bringing a dog. They still allowed us the room, and we made sure to wipe our dogs' paws each time he was outside. The suite was nice with a kitchenette with a microwave and fridge. It had a two-sided fireplace between the living area and bedroom. Unfortunately, the fireplace did not work, but the jetted tub was nice. There ARE bbqs on site. We would have brought our good steaks had we known, but the foodland local store has a good deli department, so we were able to make do. We stayed in room 110, which was an end unit.
