This spa has the absolute worst business ethics of any company I've had to deal with as a customer. I purchased two groupons for my mother and I to use towards getting a manicure and pedicure. Our appointments were cancelled on us, and we told we could either reschedule of get a refund. However, since then I have emailed and called them to try and claim the refund that we were promised and received no response. This business essentially stole our money, and now refuses to communicate with us. If you are thinking of going to this spa or doing any business with them, I would advise you against it. They clearly have no sense of integrity or honesty.

I purchased a Groupon for a spa package for two for $139 on November 26, 2012 as a Christmas gift for my best friend. I called the spa multiple times and left messages in addition to sending over 5 emails within a 4 week period. I did not receive in a month a single email or call back so on Christamas Eve I had to contact Groupon to credit me back the money for it, and this took another two weeks to even get this sorted out with them. A complete nightmare! If this is an example of Terme Nuvo's customer service no wonder they need to repeatedly offer Groupons. I live 5 minutes from this spa but would never go there just based on their lack of responsiveness.

This is April 26th 2013. Yes BAD EXPERIENCE SO FAR!!!! You know of a poor operation when you leave a voicemail and they use a cheap answering machine. Generally the first sign of poor business trying to save on voicemail. I received a coupon from these guys for a Christmas present and no answering emails or left messages. Why bother selling your service on Groupon to attract new clients, when you dont want to deliver services. Makes no sense to me. Groupon Stock price had dropped significantly over the past year. A sign of the times for Groupon, usually these kind of businessess don"t help Their business. Would not want to recommend Terme Nuvo, can imagine the service they provide.

When I called to book a WagJag Mani Pedi I asked if they perform Shiatsu massages. She replied yes. What she did not tell me was they where not registered and it was a combination hot stone shiatsu and reflexogy. It all sounds good, but what a big rip off for $150.00. If you could imagine lying naked in a freezing cold room with bright lights and no spa music as some woman moves cool stones up and down you feet, legs and part of your back. Whipeeee. Not worth the money terrible experience. She had no idea what she was doing. Next The mani pedi. today I am walking around in complete embarrassment as I have no idea how to take off gel polish. OK imagine asking for a French manicure and only 9 out of 10 fingers gets a French manicure and one get a plain polish. E M B A R R A S S I N G. Now the feet even worst. The polish is so un even,, and not extended to the edges. I have pics that would make you think a child applied this polish. Not funny since I do not know how to remove this polish that they tell me could last up to 4 wks.. After all the pics are worth a thousand words check them out.. Best yet I called the salon to tell them how dissatisfied I was and they never returned my call to try and make a bad situation good. . This is the first complaint I have written in 56yrs. I feel disrespect and taken advantage of. So as the story goes what goes around comes around. Tell all your friends to save their money and go the the Dove spa and get quality service in a relaxing atmosphere ...........So 6 days have Past the nail polished is all chipped and lost it lusture............RUN RUN..........to a professional salon that knows how to treat their clients with respect

THIS SPA HAS BEEN EVICTED FROM THEIR LOCATION SINCE NOVEMBER 23RD, 2012. THEY OWE THE LANDLORD OVER $54,000.00 IN BACK RENT. THEY KNEW THEY WERE BEING EVICTED BUT YET STILL SCAMMED GROUPON'S CUSTOMERS. REPORTING THIS TO THE OAKVILLE POLICE. HOPEFULLY THEY WILL DO SOMETHING. SINCE OVER 400 PEOPLE PURCHASED GROUPONS FOR THIS SITE
