I have received laser hair removal treatment at Sun & Shade Med Spa for multiple years and I couldn't be happier with the results. I started seeing a difference after just one treatment! The final results have been even better than I expected! Alex (laser esthetician) is so incredible and kind. Makes you feel so comfortable throughout your appointment! Alex is very knowledgeable, professional and warm. She patiently explained the treatments and answered all of my questions and always reminds me of best practices post treatment (no sauna, tanning, workout or hot showers!!)

I waited a year to give my review because wanted to see if my issue would go away. If I could give this place a zero, I would. I got laser hair removal done here on my body and on my upper lip. My upper lip started getting darker and I asked Alex (the laser therapist) about it, and she said that it’s not possible and that it’s just me. My skin continued to get darker and I remember the scent of something burning when she did my upper lip. When I researched it and asked other specialists and doctors, it turns out she used a strength way too high for my skin. Now, a year later and my upper lip skin still has dark patches. I look like I have a moustache. This whole ordeal has affected my mental health and unfortunately there is no permanent cure to hyperpigmentation. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Also, side note, I tried their micro needling, and they use products that are incredibly cheap and you could literally find at Walmart, I checked myself because it seemed very shady. Don’t be fouled by their offers.

I've been going for laser hair removal with Allessandra for many sessions now. It's always great to see her. She has such great energy and is experienced in her role and does the job well. She is careful and ensures I am comfortable throughout the session. I highly recommend her !
