I’ve been coming to Steamul Sauna since the new ownership took over a few years ago, and I can confidently say this is the best traditional sauna in all of Toronto!

This is the only true banya-style sauna in the area, complete with a wood-burning setup that provides a deep, therapeutic heat you just can’t get from electric or gas saunas. The experience is authentic, from the wooden sauna itself to the perfect balance of hot and cold — their cold plunge is the perfect complement to the heat, offering incredible health benefits.

On top of the sauna experience, the atmosphere here is amazing. They have live music on select weekends, delicious hot tea, cold beer on tap, and even delicacies like dry fish. The highlight? Their chef makes the best homemade borscht I’ve ever tasted. It truly feels like a slice of traditional Eastern European culture right in the GTA.

The new owners are wonderful — so kind, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what they do. You’re greeted like family from the moment you walk in, and the entire community is warm and friendly.

I've been to many saunas in my life, but Steamul sauna in Richmond Hill is domething special! Real wood-fired heat, cleanless, and tespect for client and traditions. After the steam session, I feel light, my blood pressure stabilizes, and my joints stop aching. I come every week and feel 20 years yonger!

I had an amazing experience at this sauna! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the service is top-notch. The prices are very reasonable, making it the best sauna experience in Toronto. I highly recommend this place! I also heard they might be adding ice baths in the future, which will make it even more spacious and enjoyable.
