I came here for the first time after going to nails and spa on may because i wasn’t very happy with the nails i got there. sapphire nails was efficient, thorough, friendly and clean. i was a little skeptical at first as i came on a busy day and the nail artists kept switching but they have a good system they got going. i was very satisfied will the end result and will be coming back. thank you!

Im coming back to edit my review after the very kind reaponse by this company.
I've now been here a few times and I personally do not consider this a high quality luxury nail salon however it is one of the nicer fast service nail salons. I will say a pedicure is done better than any of their other fast service nail salons in Thunder Bay that Ive been too. I do find when they get busy they tend to skip steps, and they do charge on average 22$ for simple nail art painted on and even more if you want gems applied. Which i do understand artwork does need an upcharge but 22$ for simple pokadots felt excessive but I can live with it. When having your nails done they have multiple employees jump from client to client to work on them on different steps you never get ONE nail tech start to finish and there's no hand washing in-between which is unsanitary and can cause infection and cross contamination for fungal issues... at the very least the techs should be using hand sanitizer if they need to work on multiple people. I also was alarmed at the forcing you to buy files that are disposable and cheap and make you keep them for future services which In my 10+ years of nail services I've never experienced and again is a bacteria issue. The young lady doing nails can come off very rude and can be rough with your nails, I find she gets upset or irritated if you try and tell her you don't quite like the shape or she's not doing the design the way you want.... the young gentleman does a much better job in listening to the client in my opinion. The young lady doing nails does not seem to care to even check the shape of your nail after they have filed it and I've left on multiple occasions now with glue/polish and all different shaped nails with residue all over my fingers. No cuticle oil at all used and they do absolutely no quality control when they finish they just tell you to go pay. This is a fast in and out nail place if you want luxury this is one of the better fast service shops but I do think there should be a lot more care taken in some aspects of the experience. I do hope in the future to see some change implemented as most of the staff is very pleasant.

Was treated by my parents to a pedicure and manicure and with short notice they got me in and did an exceptional job. Very friendly and place very clean. Will definitely go back next time in town.

Absolutely love my bio gel nails , exactly what I asked for , also had a great pedicure done which wasn’t rushed through and felt AMAZING.! I recommend this place over all ! Come here if you want your nails to look snatched ! 🥰😍🔥💯

First and last time going. Nails are thick, wide and awful, they look ridiculous. No oil, no moisturizer, no massage, just rushed. Shellac on toes applied by placing a big blob on them. And I believe it was the owner. I tried to tell her that they were wide, she wasn’t impressed. Oh well, better places out there.

Amazing job! I went in without an appt and was seen quickly. Very clean and comfortable atmosphere and friendly family owned business. My nails were done and after seeing many different nail techs in the city over the last 10 years, this is the best set I’ve ever had done and took under an hour. Highly recommend! This is going to be my regular nail place from now on, they’ve won over my business 💯
