The pictures shown on the site to what we had were very different places. It looked to be on a beach on Lake Ontario where we were staying. There was no Resort signage - just the 911 number on the mailbox. The cabins were just cabins - steel furniture all new but very uncomfortable. Nothing fancy and ours included ants, rat poison and mouse dirt in all kitchen drawers. Resort was way overpriced. It was more like a camp which would be fine if it was priced this way. Bicycles were small, some broken. When we found the beach which was not easily found - down the road, there was one kid's life jacket for all the kayaks. No shade at the beach. There was a lot of firewood which was great. Pictures showed the vehicles were parked beside each cabin but that was not allowed. Very disappointed for the hefty cost of renting there. As well cash deposit was very slow in being returned - 3 weeks.

Good points first: this place is good for larger group gathering outdoors. There're multiple fireplaces in addition to fireplace for each cottage. They set up chairs and a fireplace in a large area for our large group. There are also adequate number of recreational equipment in decent condition eg bikes, water crafts, life jackets ...etc.
For the rate charged though the cabins are not well maintained. The tap water was so chlorinated it was bitter and undrinkable. I felt like I've drunk a swimming pool after 3 sips. And the water actually abruptly stopped in all cabins 2 hours before our check out. We rented 4 cabins, 3 were 2 bedrooms. There were huge variation in how each was set up. Cabin 3 has no extra cupboard storage at all in kitchen or in bathroom, it is small. Cabin 4 has a lot of storage in kitchen, a chest in bathroom and is larger. Each cabin was full of dead bugs. We swept and swept and swept and there were still dead bugs. We found a dead bug under the bedsheet on the mattress. The porch was slippery when wet. It rained and every time we went in and out we almost slipped. In every cabin there was something not working eg. Cabin 3 - one stove top didn't work. Cabin 5 - microwave didn't work, the fridge and freezer were barely cold. The beds are very hard with stiff springs that make creaking and cracking sounds when we move. The wifi does not work at all so don't bother. Good thing is the manager was very responsive when we reached out to him with issues. However, at the rate that they charge at this place, we shouldn't have to deal with so many issues.

This is a lovely place. So quiet, so much nature around. It is NOT a fancy-cushy place, but everything is almost brand and super-clean. I loved the very bright interior, the many windows through which the cool breeze easily could flow in, and the well-equipped kitchen. The nearby shore is very beautiful; the pebbly beach has cold, clear water. I put my water shoes on and could not resist a dip! Manager Mal went out of his way to make our stay most pleasant. I also appreciated the proximity of Exultet Winery (20 min drive), and the easy commute to Picton (about 30min). But mostly it was the peacefulness, Thanks very much! (I gave 4/5 because it is a bit on the pricey side).

Lovely, peaceful and absolutely beautiful spot. Not a fancy resort by any means, but everything in the cottage seemed brand new and worked really well. Manager Mal went out of his way to make our stay the best. The property has a lot of trees and shrubs, so privacy would be good even if the place was full. The pebbly shoreline-beach is truly beautiful; I even swam for a few minutes in the ice-cold lake (June 21st!). The proximity of the Prince Edward Point Nature Reserve was so convenient; the entire place is surrounded by the reserve and it was the most peaceful place we've been to in a long time. We heard lots of singing birds, whip-poor-wills at night, and also heard a pack of coyotes in a distance which was very cool! Also only 20min from the best winery in the county (Exultet) and a fairly easy commute (30min) to Picton. My only very minor complain was that the furniture and beds were really hard... There were several pillows of which we made good use!

My family comprising of 3 adults, spent 3 memorable days at the cottage from 10-12 September, 2021. The cottage itself was very comfortable, neat, clean and had all the appliances, utensils and crockery that one would require for an enjoyable stay. There was a private backyard with a BBQ set with our cottage. There is a beach volleyball area, bicycles with helmets available and a large well maintained common area for a group BBQ and campfires in the evenings. |We spent the mornings, at the bird sanctuary next door, trekked to the Lighthouse and biked to The Little Bluff Conservation area. Also explored the wineries around. In the afternoons, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at the Resort’s private Pebbles beach which was absolutely serene, beautiful, large and scenic with clear water. In the beach area, there were picnic tables, lounge chairs, snorkeling equipment, life jackets, paddle boards, kayaks and canoes. In the evenings, we enjoyed dinner around a campfire with other guests and toasted marshmallows under starry nights. We were fortunate to see a shooting star too. |The WiFi was effective, go prepared with your groceries & food items. All in all, was a time to remember and will be back next year.

Hello. We were a group of 5 retirees who stayed near the end of June for 3 nights. We stayed in two cabins (4 and 5). Both were very clean, well stocked with cooking/serving dishes, BBQ, etc. ||The beach is simply amazing - wide, clear. The best I have seen at any place in the County, including Sandbanks or Little Bluff! There were no crowds - those staying at the resort have it all to themselves!||We did not get the sport package but saw others using it - will get it when we go again. We did get the wifi package and had good connection. ||We did some day trips - easy jaunt to the Waupoos winery/cidery and lunch at the winery was fabulous. ||Nightimes were magical - we had clear skies for viewing the stars and you could hear the whippoorwills calling. ||Can't beat Pebbles - have booked to go back in September!

My tween daughter and I did a trip around Eastern Ontario and spent two days in Prince Edward County. The beach at Pebbles was truly a highlight! ||||My daughter loved swimming in the water - it was hard to get her out even to eat! She was able to try out the kayak and the stand up paddleboard. She enjoyed the calm water. Water moccasins are a must, as the rocks are hard and hot due to the sunshine, but the trade-off is that there are no weeds or muck.||||We did not spend much time in the cabin but it was clean and had everything we needed. I had no problem getting service on my phone but still bought the all inclusive package because I wanted the wifi for my daughter to use. ||||When we were away from the waterfront, we had a chance to try the sports equipment and outdoor games (like bikes and horseshoes). A fire under a clear sky is something special! The bag of marshmallows camw in handy! We were lucky enough to enjoy great weather while we were there. ||||Pebbles gave us some great recommendations for places to visit and everything we checked out was as they advised (don't miss Cones and Shakes.)

My group of friends just finished a wonderful weekend together with our young children (ages 5 months to 4 years) at Pebbles Beach Resort. With the right company, you’re sure to have a great time. However, I think there’s some important items that are unclear on the website, and many features are not available as described. Would we return? Yes, but keeping in mind the following:

Pros:
- Scenic location, set amongst nature and very private
- Each cabin is large, comfortable, and contains all the necessities
- Located very close to a provincial park with unique landscapes and gorgeous beach area
- The “resort” has a lot of potential and looks like it will have many amenities, but it’s currently bare bones & under construction

Cons:
- The website indicates a number of features and activities that are unavailable. It should be made clear these are “coming soon”
- Most of the activities are not included, and require an additional fee of the “all inclusive package”. Most of the items are standard fair amongst resorts and should be included in the nightly rate. Examples include Wifi, and wood for burning at the campfire.
- Most of the site is half-finished and under construction. These areas are not securely fenced off and are unsafe. Items include large paver stones on the beach that are falling over, exposed electrical wire, and unsafe docks by the beach.
- We were told a communal recreational cabin would be available, but it was unfinished and we were not warned before our arrival.
- There was no staff upon arrival, or in person support at the resort
- Although the cabins are large with great amenities, the beds and furniture is very hard and uncomfortable
- There is no signage on the property for way-finding purposes (such as at the main entrance and to the beach)

Recommendations:
- include all activities in the base rate, as these are necessary items to enjoy the weekend
- Upgrade the beds and living room “couch” in each cabin
- Install proper signage at the resort entrance and throughout the property
- Fence off all areas under construction

All in, we enjoyed our time here and had a lot of fun biking to through the provincial park, using the boogie boards at the beach, and enjoying nightly bon fires. But the place is unfinished and this should be reflected clearly on the website. We would like to return in the future and hope the resort is further along.
