The staff are so nice, but the owner or whoever the guy is in charge is shady and rude to his staff. I could hear him yelling at an employee in the back of the store. The things he was saying were totally unacceptable and I hope they file a complaint with the labour board. I feel bad for the staff if they have to put up with this jerk on a daily basis. He should know that they are the only thing keeping him in business. I will never shop any Guardian Drugs in North Bay again due to this.

The pharmacy is slow , it doesn’t matter if you fax ahead and wait 2-3 hours you go in and they “ haven’t looked at the faxes yet” never have I come across a pharmacy who chooses to avoid their faxed in prescriptions. My mother waited nearly 30 mins before being told she was “ forgotten” about and waited another 20 while it was filled . The front cashier staff are amazing but their pharmacy lacks time management and organization, they should be prioritizing all prescriptions including faxed ones in such a digitalized world- or at least communicate with patrons so there is an general awareness and not wasting anyone’s time

then 1 star. I am incredibly insulted and disturbed by the people working behind the pharmacy counter at the Guardian on Algonquin in North Bay. My interaction with Carla and this other woman with a thick accent was completely outrageous and filled with rude attitude. I spoke with the manager several days after as I was still bothered by how I was spoken too. Today, I dreaded having to go back to the store as I was doing an exchange. Fun accent lady, surely warned I'd be coming in at some point, pounced at the occasion. I just wanted to pick up my items and leave. Instead, I was being lectured as she questioned me, demanded explaination, belittled me and spoke down to me. There was zero reason for me to have to tell her anything at that point. I felt extremely uncomfortable and blown away by what she was doing. I cannot believe the people they have working there and how they think it's ok to talk to others in this demeanor. I don't plan on ever going back and I encourage using other pharmacies that treat you with respect!

I have highly recommend this pharmacy to my family and friends. Truly the most knowledgeable and helpful staff I have ever seen at any pharmacy ever before. These guys know what they're doing and their customer service is exceptional. Thank You guys for all your help! I will be back again and again 🙂

I wish you could reply to some of these reviews by a bunch of cry babies who think the whole world revolves around them.

This is one of the best pharmacies in North Bay.

Edit: I'm very sad they're closed on Sundays now.. I work 6 days a week and Sunday is my only day off. *sigh*

went in real quick to grab my medicine. was told to wait a few minutes - no problem.

looked around, noticed that this woman's all up on me then she asks me if i stole anything because she "saw me on the cameras". i empty my pockets and i swear on my life she gave me dirty looks 😂

This place is not just a pharmacy, it's a second home! The staff at this location provide the best customer service and all the pharmacists are very knowledgeable and give great recommendations. Transferring all my prescriptions here was the best decision I made!

I went to pick up a free rapid test kit but they have said they are out of the free ones but are selling single test kits for $20. They are in plastic Ziploc bags too so this is definitely not right.
