Awful experience! The lady was super rude, argued with me when she gave me a shape that I didn’t even ask for, because she never asked in the first place!!! Nails came out super uneven, and chunky, still not even the correct shape! She tried to change a colour without asking me, because she thought the one I chose was “too bright”. She was chatting with the other ladies and laughing, so I want to assume they were talking rudely. She also would file things down, and leave the dust residue on my hands and fingers, glued two of my fingers together, and she was super rough with me. I definitely won’t be wasting my money there again!!!

vivian is amazing , and super kind! she did my nails today and took her time making them look absolutely perfect. it was my first time getting my nails done by her and her and i chatted so much it felt so nice being able to talk about random things & chat about life etc while having mh nails done, it just made the service so much more enjoyable.

i highly recommend vivian, she’s super kind and very talented and takes her time!

MK Nails is absolutely one of the best in North Bay, all the staff are friendly and eager to please and engaging, the owner is the sweetest ,and the shop is really clean.

Vivian is fantastic she's a true artist, she is friendly engaging and eager to tackle any nail art design, I can honestly say I love the work she has done they are the best nails I have ever had done!

I highly recommend this salon for their services.

I've been going to MK nails for a few years now.... when I first experienced nail service I definitely felt uncomfortable and the service was awful, she hurt my hand and was very rude and blunt😖

HOWEVER
I gave it a 2nd chance and was strongly encouraged to book with the owner Mya or her daughter Vivian. I'm glad I did. It changed my thoughts on the service and business. I trully enjoy my time and visit with Vivian she never disappoints me, stick to her scheduled apts and we always share in laughter and her communication is great.

For all the negative comments and reviews I strongly encourage you to give it a 2nd chance and BOOK your apt directly with Mya or Vivian. You won't be disappointed.

Vivian at MK Nails is a fabulous technician! I have been doing my nails for well over 20 years. I moved to the North Bay area this past August and needed to find a new nail tech. A friend recommended MK Nails and I was lucky enough to have an appointment with Vivian. She is the best one I’ve ever used. Her specialty is bio gel, but I’m pretty sure she does it all. My nails are never ‘thick’, always look clean, tidy and natural. Communicating with Vivian is easy. She is an artist!

I have been going to MK nails consistently for over a year now and I find the quality of the work and atmosphere of the salon to be amazing! Vivian is so talented and is always blessing my nails with her precision and attention to detail. The salon environment is clean, well-maintained, and conducive to relaxation! The only place I’ll go to for nails in North Bay!!

Very rarely do I write a review as I am pretty understanding but this experience wasn't it...

Went in with my daughters to get mani pedis.

The whole experience was unfortunately bad. We asked for designs, and got laughed as saying they can't do it when they were simple... (pink nails with sprinkles painted on)

I got nail extensions and none of the nails are even, she was very rough with my hands, none of us got what we wanted, my kids gel polish came off on a few nails within just an hour or 2....

Overall won't be going back.

Vivian is the best! My nails are perfect and last for weeks without any damage. Her attention to detail is unmatched and my nails always come out look better than my inspiration photo.
