This was my first time ever having a massage. I was in a car accident and I had some stiffness. I was looking around to some other places, and when I came across Massage Addict I was impressed by the reviews! I decided to book with Lisa and she was outstanding! She really needs to be cloned because I would book to see her every week if I could! It was such a calming environment, and I honestly believe you won't get better service anywhere else! Thank-you Massage Addict for making my first visit and Massage so comfortable! You and your staff are so appreciated!

Massage only lasted 35-40 minutes when was booked for 1 hour. She was late grabbing me which was fine but now looking back was just a cherry on top. My Massages therapist was quite passive when asking me what brought me in and gave me attitude on some occasions. Brushed it off but then everything just kept getting worse . She told me i could stop the massage at anytime on 4 separate occasions making me think she didn't want to do doing it in the first place. The entire massage felt so unprofessional as it felt like she had no idea what she was doing, which is now clear she didn't. She basically just rubbed me with lotion almost the entire time, tickled me on 2 separate occasions. She asked me how the pressure was, I told her she could apply more . She responded with " oh, okay. I can but we can only do so much cause there's only bone under there" . Like ... what When she finally put pressure was the wrong kind and am now in pain that will probably last for a little while. I left with massive pains in my one shoulder cause she focused more on the one side and not in a good way. Whatever "technique" she had and used was absolute terrible, felt like she had no idea what a proper massage even is . I've had many massages in my life and genuinely this was nothing like a professional massage whatsoever and i'm so upset my insurance was even charged for such waste of my time . The receptionist asked me how my treatment was after , i said "uh it was okay" she said "just okay?" and i replied with " yea" with a look on my face . She then just handed me my receipt and i walked out. Not her job i guess to get more info but as a receptionist with someone who looks very unhappy wouldn't you want to know more ? Anyway i hope this message is read and actually acknowledged as I read plenty of reviews and saw lots of good ones, i skipped over a few one of 1 star reviews thinking i would give it a shot anyway and to not judge but now i understand them all completely and have agreed with every single one of them.

After analyzing the reviews I decided to give Lisa a try. I hadn’t been for a massage in years and I was a tight mess. Yes it was painful at times and not a fall asleep kind of massage. The beauty part was that Lisa got my muscles to relax and I could actually feel them give in to her. She worked my neck and shoulders to help with migraines and although painful at first, it was glorious afterwards. I now feel more fluid in my body and when I went for my second massage, my body relaxed without a fight. I like her and so far so good!

I have been a member of MA Pickering for couple of years.I love coming here for my massages!
The location is inviting with friendly staff and a seating area. It is always clean and smells wonderful. I see Lisa, who has been my RMT for past couple of years. She is very knowledgeable and professional. She listens to you and discusses what you need from your appointment and the best approach to achieve it.
I always feel relaxed and pain free when I leave.
I highly recommend!!

I had an acupuncture appointment with Dewar.
Dewar was very thorough, professional and provided a path to becoming rid of the pain I’ve been experiencing. He didn't just want me to feel better in the short term but rather diagnosed, assessed and then addressed the root cause. Looking forward to seeing him again!
The receptionist Peter at the front desk was also very pleasant, welcoming, and sociable.

My first ever visit to MA and it was an disappointing experience. The reception was great. Met with therapist Mia who was on time and looked very experienced. However she put little effort on the massage. Most of the time she was applying oil and lighty rubbing it everywhere . There was no techniques and put almost no pressure. Never asked how the pressure was. It was like applying moisturizer everywhere. It was very disappointing. Will not be returning unfortunately. I go for a massage almost every month and the worst I ever had.
