I highly recommend Stephanie and Lavish Salon to anyone looking for an experienced hair stylist. I always have an amazing experience and have been going to her for years and years. She never fails to make my hair feel beautiful and healthy. I have very long hair down to my waist and whether I am adding in highlights, Balayage or going darker, it always turns out perfect. She is an expert when it comes to colour and styling.

Today I had a facial and a manicure with Rita at Lavish salon. It was my second facial at Lavish. Rita was very accommodating, taking into account that I use a mobility scooter. I was able to stay in my scooter, recline back in it and have my relaxing facial without having to worry or stress about transferring onto a bed, which would be very difficult for me to do. Rita took her time, she asked me if I felt comfortable, she was very attentive and was just lovely.
Following my two spa services, I had my hair done by Sandy J. She always does an amazing job with my highlights, color, cut and blow dry. I am very thankful for the services provided at Lavish. They always go above and beyond. Every time I have an appointment at Lavish I’m always offered a scalp massage and hand massage, which just adds to the feeling of pampering and is always nice to experience. Thank you Rita and Sandy and all the wonderful staff at Lavish. You always make me feel welcome and I always leave there feeling amazing!!

Once again, I’m a happy client of Lavish Salon. I just had my hair done last night by Shabi and she’s seriously amazing. I have a lot of thick hair and she colours it effortlessly. I really appreciate that she covers my hair line so well and the close skin borders with the colour preventing cream…so that the dye doesn’t stay on your skin for a couple days (if you’re getting it a dark colour like me). Shabi is very professional, easy-going, and I can tell she has high standards for hair styling! I’m happy she’s back from maternity leave and I look forward to my next appointment! Thank you! 🙂

I love this salon. I’ve been a client for years and have had the pleasure of having my hair done by many of the stylists. Every time I walk through the door I’m greeted like I’m family! I love the complimentary beverages, hand and scalp massages! The stylists always know exactly what colour and style I I’m looking for and I love the aveda hair treatments. Special shout out to Jen, Sandy, and Katrina! Cant wait for my next appointment!

I’ve been going to Jenifer Marshall for almost a year now and it’s crazy to even say that because I’m not usually the type to stay consistent with a hairdresser. I just hit a point where I knew I had to stop using boxed dye. Jen is great at what she does, I can’t say enough how I am in love with my hair again.
Lavish salon also offers hand and scalp massage during your appt. It’s the BEST little treat, and whoever washes my hair always adds a little extra love with another gentle scalp massage at the end. It’s all those little in betweens that make the experience for me.
I’d recommend this place to anyone - I can’t say enough I how I look forward to my hair appointments at Lavish.

Several months ago, I visited a salon in Durham for a haircut, but unfortunately, the results were far from what I expected. The outcome left me feeling very self-conscious and caused significant stress, which eventually led to noticeable hair loss. After much hesitation, I finally decided to trust another stylist to address the issue, and I’m relieved to say the experience was much more positive. Trusted NATALIE and I instantly gained my confidence back! She was amazing. She suggested I don’t cut my hair short to start over but instead she suggested to “fix” my hair for it to grow back to my comfort style. SHE IS AMAZING!!! Thank you Thank you!

Recently had a brutal hair cut experience here. I initially booked a hair cut with a stylist that was recommended to me. When I got there, it wasn’t the girl I booked with. Nobody contacted me that the stylist I was supposed to have called in sick, they just subbed in someone else. The haircut was terrible…super choppy messy job done and I left feeling terrible about my hair. when the salon was made aware of this, they rebooked me in for a fix for free which was great. I was just shocked that they didn’t offer me any extra compensation for the terrible work done and the lack of communication on their end. I appreciated them offering to “fix” it for free (as they should) but they didn’t do anything extra for the absolute inconvenience this caused. I had to come back the week later, coming out of my way to fix the problems created on their end…just disappointed really
