Beautiful area to walk around with clearly defined trails. The terrain is a bit uneven but great for beginners, families and an afternoon with a good book on one of the many benches!

It's a very nice park. I don't know if it blows in -- and I'm hoping that's what it is from -- but I've notice some litter in some of the boundary areas of the park.
Overall it's still a great place for a walk. You will be surrounded by wildlife be aware that with the vast forested areas around some of it may be large animals.
There are several beaver lodges in view of the park so there's a good chance of seeing one.

Quick access from the brule st parking to some easy going and beautiful hiking trails. Not much elevation to deal with but there's rocks and tree roots underfoot. Good for kids with lots of benches for rest stops. The fall colours are amazing. A real gem in the middle of the city.

Absolutely delightful urban oasis, quiet as can be. Forest covered, and short portions of boardwalks donated and built, locals. Excellent walking paths, the signage, particularly at beginning are missing and then us off. We did the main > purple > yellow loop with our pup, stopping to enjoy the view from the benches. Highly recommend. No bugs, but we had sprayed the dog with oils. Spotless, just spotted one poop bag thrown into the bush.

Beautiful walking trail. First of July still lots of bugs. Enough shaded areas to cool things off with the warm weather. We'll go back for sure.
