Our experience with International Pool and Spas has been incredibly disappointing and frustrating. We initially purchased a pool from them with the promise of installation starting late April to early May. However, this timeline was continuously pushed back without adequate communication from their end. The pool wasn't installed until the beginning of July causing significant inconvenience and disruption to our plans.

Communication from International Pool and Spas was abysmal throughout the entire process. We were never informed that we needed to arrange for a water truck delivery, which led to last-minute scrambling on our part. We were then told the water truck had to come back again the next day resulting in us paying double delivery fees. Additionally, we were shocked to discover that the installation did not include hooking up the heater, something that was never mentioned during the sales process.

One of the most frustrating aspects was the conflicting information we received about our installation schedule. Initially assured that we were first in line for installation since we purchased the pool back in October, we later found out that another pool was installed ahead of us. The promises of being "up next" were repeatedly made and broken, leaving us feeling misled and disregarded.

Attempts to communicate with International Pool and Spas were often futile. Calls to the store would frequently go unanswered, or we would be promised callbacks that never materialized. This lack of responsiveness only added to our frustration and made us question their commitment to customer service.

To further elaborate on the issues with International Pool and Spas, we faced significant challenges beyond just the delayed installation and poor communication. Despite our requests, the company failed to install the correct stairs for our pool. We reached out multiple times to rectify this issue, but received no response. The stairs they delivered were incompatible and could not be properly installed, which explains why they were never put in place.

This oversight forced us to resort to using a chair as a makeshift solution to access the pool, which ultimately resulted in my fiancé sustaining an injury that required a knee brace. This situation has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing, highlighting a severe lack of attention to detail and customer care from International Pool and Spas.

While the pool itself looks satisfactory in the end, the overall experience with International Pool and Spas has been marred by poor communication, unmet promises, and a lack of accountability. For anyone considering using their services, I would strongly advise caution and recommend seeking out a company that values transparency and reliability in their dealings with customers.

Don’t bother with this company. I tried to get my pool open from the Oshawa location and they didn’t show up. I half opened the pool myself and they told me I’d get a discount since they didn’t show up and I did most of the work. Then got a huge bill, hundreds of dollars more than first quoted. After chatting with the manager Brent we still got no discount. They told me I would get pool school for free and that never happened. Tried to order a solar blanket off the website and they just didn’t ship that either. Been on the phone multiple times trying to figure out where that is. Don’t waste your money or time at this place. Huge disappointment when we just moved into a house with a pool and we need help. This place is not helpful at all. Relying on the Internet for pool help now.

Came in for the first time for a pool repair. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. It's nice to see the parts on display in the service area. Needed a Poly conector and about 2 feet of flexible piping. You can pay by the foot which is great.

I would like to give a shout out to Jake and Ryan for opening my pool. Also thank you to Jake for fixing the leak on my pump and heater. Jake spent 3 hours making sure nothing was leaking on a Friday night before the long weekend. Thanks to Jake I was able to enjoy my swimming pool over this gorgeous long weekend

I was in today with a broken drain plug for my sand filter and another leaky connection on the pump. Brent explained how to fix the connection and since the drain plug was out of stock he found me a used one. He also recommended I buy a filter plier wrench for all the connections and this is a game changer when connecting all the fittings. Thank you so much Brent, made my day!!!

This is my first time going into this location and I was pleasantly surprised. A young man by the name of Eamon helped me out by explain multiple different chemicals to me and showing me what would help and work best for my pool situation. I really appreciate both the quality of service provided along with the quality of the product. No negative notes from me on either end.

I went in to get my pool water tested and was helped by the associate Eamon. He was very kind and helpful and explained to me the process of testing pool water and how I would know what to change if anything needed to be changed. Eamon was so knowledgeable about pools and cleared up any misconceptions i had. I was very impressed by his service and would definitely recommend going here to anyone looking for pool equipment and advice.
