I brought my girlfriend here for a surprise weekend away. We weren't too sure what to expect, but we were both blown away! The host, Norma, is sweet and warm, and she knew her stuff (she's been in this business for over 30 years), and she treated us as if we'd known her for years. The place was clean and cozy (keep in mind that this in her house, and some people may not be comfortable with that), and the spa treatment was so relaxing for the both of us. The food Norma made for us was delicious! It was such a wonderful experience!

First I would like to start mentioning the good aspects. The location is very nice, private, in the middle of the nowhere, which I like. It is a family little hotel. I booked a package that included stay, massage facial and free breakfast for the cost of 450 +TX for one person so it was not cheap. I got there early in the morning and Norma the owner was nice and let me get the room at 10 am. At 1 pm - had my massage and omg Lisa's hands are amazing at 2 pm the facial that let my face super clean and soft.

I went by my self because I needed an alone time to renew my inspiration and experience something new. My 3 stars are because I could not feel completely comfortable around the pathways of the hotel as you get the feeling that you are in someone else's space as the owner life's there. So you have to tips toe around. She is very nice though. And the second reasons is because I wanted to take a hot tub and the water that came out was very dirty yellow and with black particles they told me it was iron but it smelled bad.

And I have to make a very special mention about the breakfast Norma prepared, she put amde sure that the three courses I was presented with were plated and presented exquisitely, just excellent. Strawberry yogurt with granola to start, then a homemade waffle with peach and maple syrup, and beautifully poached eggs with toasted cheese bread and pursciuto, with orange juice and coffee: a great artisinal meal.

As a suggestion I think it would be good for the hosts to encourage the use of all the rooms in the beautiful facility without being shy, and explain before hand the special condition of the water, so that it does not come as a surprise.
