Just tip for everyone who make appointments always be clear about how long your hair is and the texture because it is very busy there and be very patient with them. The second time going there was incredible and amazing. Thank you to the owner for this wonderful place that helps a lot of people

Had the best experience here today. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with tea/coffee. Teo walked me through the appointment and started me with the before photos of my scalp. Stephanie performed my scalp massage and it was seriously such a treat! I felt incredible and so relaxed the entire time. The spa and the products all smell so fantastic. Highly recommend! Can't wait to go back.

Action speaks louder than words. I had a dry scalp for years. I was referred to many skin specialists and was given medicated creams and shampoos but nothing came close to this. Refer to my pictures for before and after treatment.

I would hardly come across a place where I would give it a complete 5 star rating with exceptional service standards. This place has it all. Ambiance, great quality products, amazing staff. They are friendly, helpful and thankful. Facility is neat and clean and they make you feel just at ease instantaneously.

I saved the best for the last, the owner Teo, is a sensational, out of this world person who is bound to awe you with her lively demeanour and personality. You can't go without meeting her otherwise you will miss half the experience. I would highly recommend this place and would come here again.

Amazing experience. Teo has created a lovely and relaxing ambiance. Staff were very friendly and polite. Teo did my scalp analysis with the scalp camera and Ericka did my treatment. She cared about my experience at the spa and she definitely knew what she was doing. They have really nice natural products. Definitely recommend this location if you are looking for a nice scalp treatment.

I gifted my partner a $150 towards a scalp treatment service. I chose this because it specifies that he would receive a foot and calf massage during the treatment. We frequent spa’s in the GTA and so when I saw that this was apart of the treatment I thought this is something he would genuinely love. Please do not be fooled like I was upon booking, this is simply a foot massager that they turn on that just casually moves along the bottom of the foot and provides heat… so that was extremely disappointing for both him and I and is absolutely advertised wrong on the website. I also felt as though once the other clients were slowly trickling in, our treatments felt rushed. We were asked to come in earlier than when we initially booked and this tells me that perhaps they book clients in but there wasn’t necessarily enough time because during the wash portion, the treatment felt rough and rushed. It honestly wasn’t relaxing at all. We then went to pay but the staff some how didn’t realize there was a large remaining balance on the gift card credited on his account to go towards the treatment and charged us the full amount by mistake, so this complicated the payments further. Since this was a gift I wished it would have been taken with more care and the staff was on the same page. The owner had to take over to fix the payment issues but I was already not happy that such a large mistake was made by the staff during payment. I do appreciate the owner charging me for one of the rings they have at check out at a lower cost because of the mistake during payment from the staff member because that was a kind gesture but I think between the false advertising, the feeling of our rushed treatments and the payment mistakes. At this point we were both unhappy with our experience. Everything aside, we still kindly tipped 25% to the staff who provided our treatments but when all was said and done those staff members didn’t even look in our direction upon leaving.

I have had friends go to other places for very similar treatments which is where I got the idea from and they had great things to say about their experiences. I then did my research before booking with Gyoker knowing that they were supposedly the first salon to offer this in Canada which seemingly should make them the best but I unfortunately don’t believe that they are and I don’t believe the treatment and experience they provided us with is worth the cost by any means.

We were both left feeling extremely disappointed.

I’ve been here twice now and have loved it both times. Although it is pricey, I can feel the compassion the workers and owner have for their clients. I decided to try it because I’m postpartum and my hair has been thinning even before both of my pregnancies. I’m very hopeful about the results after a few more sessions 🙂

The overall ambience is great. As a stressed mama of two it definitely helps me to just relax. All the workers I’ve met so far are very kind and considerate about making it the best experience.

Absolutely loved my experience here and will DEFINITELY be going back with the results I've seen in my scalp/hair! Not only is the treatment a GREAT DEAL, I've seen major improvements in my hair GROWTH!

I am on SO many medications that made my hair thin and spent countless dollars on high-end sprays, powders (to cover) & growth products, but nothing came CLOSE to what these scalp treatments and home products did for me! My hair is completely filled in and stronger than ever!

The staff and owner are incredible, always working to make sure you feel and look your best. Not to mention they were helping promote other small businesses & donated to medical causes like mine 💖

For a premium spa, the experience was beyond disappointing. Aside from the water from my hair being washed at the sink soaking both my shirt and pants, it was even more embarrassing while I was shivering as the employee tried to blow dry me with a disinterested apology. Further, the other employees and girl at the front just watched the experience. At the end, while cashing out - didn’t even ask how the service was? No one even acknowledged the whole ordeal, it’s actually hilarious that they tried to talk to me about “booking the next appointment”. Didn’t even make a single comment about the second hand embarrassment they just witnessed, and absolutely no effort to resolve it. Truly disappointing.
