Great affordable place close to amenities, movie theater, beer and liquor stores, groceries, etc.

Amazing sunsets and chill owners that seemed very laid back.

Beautiful view! Room was nice and clean . Had a microwave and fridge Enjoyed listening to the waves. Front desk guy was a trip 😆 we will be back for sure. The price was right on . Next time I would like to see what the cabins look like! Thanks again !!

Rude Owner, Unavailable Rooms

I had a highly unpleasant experience with the Glenwood Motel. The owner's behaviour was beyond unacceptable.

During my inquiry about room rates and availability, he remained on a phone call with someone else while attempting to serve me. He displayed extreme rudeness and came across as racist. It was impossible to understand his incoherent responses, and when I persisted with my questions, he resorted to yelling "all rooms full" repeatedly until I had no choice but to leave.

This treatment left me with no option but to find accommodation elsewhere. However, my frustration peaked when I passed by the Glenwood Motel the next morning at 9 am and noticed that there were only three vehicles parked in the lot, suggesting there were, in fact, available rooms.

I would strongly advise against staying at this motel due to the disgraceful behaviour of the owner and the apparent misrepresentation of room availability.

It's a shame because the location is truly stunning, I believe there is potential for future owners to make the space great.

My husband and I stayed in cottage 2 cute little cottage. Derive was amazing very nice and helpful. Very clean The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on in a hotel. Nice fluffy pillows and very soft blankets. They really made it feel like home instead of a hotel. Nice clean sandy beach. Definitely will be going back

The Glenwood is a hidden North Bay gem. Sunny, the owner is very friendly and make sure you ask for room #12. I wrote a crime-fiction book with a scene involving the Glenwood and room #12 and I finally caught up with Sunny. He tells me his motel has been used for movies also and I can see why.

The motel is situated right on the lake with it's own private beach. It's clean, quiet, and you can keep to yourself or chat with other travellers. It is an absolute gem and my go-to spot when travelling!

My family stayed in one of the cottages and couldnt have had a better time. It was like having our own house which was very helpful travelling with a 1 year old and 4 year old. We had our own patio and there is a section of beach just for guests. It was like a miniature resort! Most of the furniture is dated as others have said but who cares about that? This is a cottage resort its not supposed to be fancy it is supposed to be affordable and clean, and it is. If you want fancy, North Bay has a Hilton if you want to pay triple. This was like having our own cottage right in town and was quiet yet conveniently close to stores etc. It is perfect for a family vacation and Sunny and Kim clearly care about the place. They are keeping costs low while maintaining a very functional mini resort. I will ALWAYS stay here when im in North Bay!

Beyond exceptional experience. The manager is the sweetest hotel operator I've ever met. Very cheap and lots of space in the room, amazing view of Lake Kipissing from the huge windows. Private and secluded beach. I would travel great distances to stay again. If you can, book the room on the lake front.

We really enjoyed our weekend at Glenwood Motel & Cabins! The cabin was very clean. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We had 2 dogs with us and they were well received. Definitely planning on booking here again when we return to North Bay. The location is very convenient. A very relaxed time!
