I went their today and got my hair done by Ashley, the color and highlights were perfect the cut was stylish and amazing. The salon is spotless with a professional flair. Ashley paid close attention to detail aswell. I definitely recommend this salon you won't regret it. Thank you Ashley.

I am new to the area and was excited to learn there was an Aveda salon in town. I spoke with the stylist about what I would like done to my hair and gave specific instructions on how I would like my hair cut. I did not want to go too short with just an inch cut off the length of my hair, no layers and long side bangs. The stylist did not listen to a word I said and cut my hair so short where I went from hair that was almost to my elbows to hair that was above my shoulders. To top it off, I was charged extra for hair dye because I was told I had long hair which was cut off before the colouring process even started and I would say hair above the shoulders is not classified as long anymore. The stylist did not listen to what I asked for and cut my hair short and then proceeded to put layers into in. I asked her what she was doing and she said that she thought my hair needed some layers in it. The stylist did not finish styling my hair and I was embarrassed to walk out of the salon because it was left damp and frizzy. The stylist also tried to tell me that I should get my thyroid checked which I found to be very offensive and advice that should not be provided if it was not solicited. I was so unhappy with the service and hair cut that I will never return to this salon. Everyone wants to leave a salon feeling good about themselves and their hair after it is done. Instead, I left upset, embarrassed and had to go and spend even more money to purchase hair extensions to cover up the poor hair cut I received. I am so disappointed in the service I received and would not recommend this salon to anyone.

Every contact I’ve had at this place has been more than amazing!
Thank you all for doing more than just your job but making people feel special!

Today I received an absolutely beautiful haircut from Lynn! It's the first time I've had hair this short for over 25 years and today's experience makes me wish I'd done it sooner! Grateful for the care she puts into her work. I've used other services at Escapes over the past few years as well and every time it has been great! Everyone is kind, friendly, skilled and knowledgeable and they are also very quick to respond to email inquiries and phone messages. It's a really great salon and spa! Glad to have found it. I went here for a cut and dye (highlights) and when I called in advance to get a quote pricing they said it would be around $150, $180. The stylist that did my hair did an amazing job, she was very professional, sweet and super easy to talk to. Absolutely nothing bad regarding her work and care, but they charged me $282 and I already had put down a $50 deposit which was included into the pricing. So it would have been $333 total which is an insane amount to charge for a cut and highlights. I have dyed my hair for years and have never paid even close to this for a cut, dye, highlights, and style.

My experience at Escapes was wonderful. Not having a haircut in a few years, it made me nervous never being here before but as soon as I walked in, the receptionist made me feel very welcome and was very nice. Ashley cut my hair, she was very nice and gave me advice with my hair and how to style it. She also made me feel very comfortable and listened to what I wanted. It was a very relaxing, calm experience and I can’t wait to go back! The owner and employees obviously go above and beyond to make this a great experience from start to finish.
