Great place, with lovely hosts. JD made our family feel very welcome, it's a place where you feel like home. We had amazing breakfast all 3 mornings. It was homemade, with lots of choices and every morning we stayed had different choices. If you ask for it, they make you your own vegan plates. Sparkling clean. I would of put a 10/5 if I could.

This bed and breakfast is perfect for couples looking to explore the pretty Prince Edward County. The hosts are kind and respectful of all dietary restrictions, including vegans and gluten-free folks. The food is delicious and the rooms are decorated in really fun ways. Great place to spend a weekend, it is very clean and organized, and all the little touches (like the free coffee/tea room and library) are appreciated. Can't do much better than this place!

We really had a wonderful time! The property is beautiful, perfectly located with a peaceful outdoor space and amazing hosts. Rooms were great, very well arranged with style and perfectly clean. The host cared very much about our family. Everyday he has had special gestures to make us smile and be happy: for example by playing music for my kids, or hiding little gifts that they'll discover at their breakfast table in the morning or puting magic in their bedroom by arranging animals in a funny way, or keeping us our favorite treats for late snacks at night, and much more. Thanks! We will come back for sure.

Our experience of English Rose was that it was welcoming, clean and very comfortable. Our bedroom was beautiful. Each bedroom has a theme; so we can't wait to go back sometime and experience another room. Breakfast was a nice surprise in terms of variety. The location was perfect in terms of access to downtown Picton. Very close to some great restaurants and shopping. The hosts were lovely and not intrusive.

My partner and i had a wonderful stay. Our room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was a treat there were plenty of options and the strawberry pancakes were so good! The young lady went out of our way to make sure we were comfortable and happy our entire stay. Looking forward to booking again.

English Rose felt like home, and there was no shortage of amazing foods and pastries made fresh by the staff! JD welcomed us each time we entered the home and also provided some great recommendations and a map of all of PEC. The backyard is a super cute and quiet area to sit and read your book - there is also a full room of board games and books if you want to explore! The location is perfect - only a few minute walk from the main drag of Picton, and only a 10-15 minute drive to anywhere else we wanted to go for the weekend.

An absolutely fantastic place to get away either for a weekend or mid-week retreat. Wonderful hosts and simply the best breakfasts! All the rooms are clean and welcoming. Plenty of little touches like snacks and water, plus a great backyard gazebo with a view of the harbour.
