WOW. Ce magasin est éclatant - tout le monde devrait y passer ! Les plats sont bons, le thé chai est parfaitement assaisonné, et le prix n’est pas si cher ! Mais le service est en anglais seulement (comme d’habitude pour cette région)

I had the worst experience of my life at this place. My friend and I went to have a cup of tea, and we ordered two Karak Chai and one Kashmiri Chai. When we tasted the tea, it was stale and tasteless, so we complained. The owner attended to us, admitted the tea was bad, and replaced it with Kashmiri Chai. Unfortunately, that too had no flavor. He then sat with us and promised to prepare fresh Karak Chai. When it arrived, it was barely filled—just a quarter of the cup! It felt like I was being treated like a beggar, paying full price but only getting a sip of tea. I thought this was just a sample and that a full cup would follow, but after waiting a long time with no attention from the staff, we decided to leave. Extremely disappointing experience.

We were grateful for another opportunity to indulge in our beloved cup of tea and were impressed that our serving of Pink Tea, accompanied by extra pistachio, was exceptionally delicious, thank you!

My sister had the ice karak chai, tastes exactly like traditional karak 10/10. I got the pistachio latte. It tastes just like the Starbucks latte if not better! I haven’t had the Starbucks drink since the boycott so I’m very excited to be able to find my favourite drink here! Kind service. Clean and pretty environment. Highly recommend

I would prefer if they did not sell Coca Cola products.

UPDATE:

Came here with our 5 year old last evening. We asked for samosa chaat & chowpathi chaat. We specifically asked them to do mild as we don't eat spicy and our 5 year old definitely doesn't.

They didn't listen and gave us extra spicy. My 5 year old couldn't handle it and we had to buy extra drinks for him to make it better. We all got a upset stomach for the rest of the day and next day.

On top of that that the quality was crap. They warmed up samosas & aloo tikki in microwave and just put stuff out of a packet. There wasn't a single fresh ingredient in any of the tiny bowls of chaat and nothing was freshly made in a pan like aloo tikki, which they charge $9 for each !

When we asked them why you didn't make it mild they said that it is regular spice and we can't change it. Even though before taking our money they said they will make it mild. I believe the employees were so busy talking to each other they didn't convey our order and just slapped together the default.

Unfortunately like most restaurants they started off food but I have to downgrade from 5 stars to 1 star as the employee & the owner just doesn't care about quality.

Old review:
If you want a warm cozy desi hug in a chai & food. Come here with your loved ones. A little on the pricey side but not bad for a place like this in Pickering.

It was such a cozy and charming experience! From the moment I walked in, I felt like I had stepped into a warm hug. The café is beautifully decorated with a blend of traditional and modern touches that make you want to settle in and stay awhile.

Now, let's talk about the chai. I went for the masala chai, and wow, it was everything I hoped for—aromatic, flavorful, and just the right amount of spice to wake up my senses. It’s the kind of chai that makes you close your eyes and savor each sip.

The food was just as delightful. I tried the samosas, which were perfectly crispy on the outside and packed with deliciously spiced filling. The sandwiches had a unique twist that made them so much more than your average café fare.

The staff were wonderful—genuinely friendly and attentive. They made sure everyone felt welcome and taken care of, adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere.

Whether you're a chai lover or just looking for a cozy spot to relax and enjoy some good food, this is definitely a place you'll want to visit. Trust me, it’s worth it!

The interior is beautiful and the colours and is nice and welcoming if you’re looking to come in and dine in. However, I found their drinks to be too milk heavy and not as strong of a coffee/tea flavour as I’d like. We ordered their pink chai and 2 of their flavoured lattes. I even asked the barista if the lattes were strong and she assured me they were so I was a little disappointed.

Good ambience with nice decor elements and great menu. I have tried their pink Chai topped with nuts it was amazing. Came back again and tried their new pistachio late and chowpatty chaat. Loved it !!
The quality and quantity of the food and drink is reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and place looks very clean and well maintained including the washroom. Would definitely recommend trying this place for quick chai/tea & chaat with family or friends.
